In this week, we had
learnt about computer network which two or more computers are connected via
hardware and software and also able to communicate with each other, for instant
ATM Machine, the internet, e-banking, and etc. The advantages of computer
network are sharing the resources, sharing informations, and also collaboration
and communicate. Thus, there are 3 basics networking concept which are Topology, Protocol, and Architecture.
Besides that, there are
also having Physical Media and Wireless Media. Physical Media are twisted-pair
cable, coaxial cable, fiber optic cable and ISPN line. Then, wireless media
also known as unguided medium, which are microwave system, satellite system,
cellular technology, and infrared technology. After that, we had learnt about
types of network, there are 3 types which LAN
(Local Area Network), MAN (Metropolitan Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network).
From the meaning I can know for each functions.
I think that all from me today and do not forget to smile… ^_^
